Course Overview:

This course is a comprehensive one-day training program designed to equip individuals with essential skills and knowledge in practical first aid, specifically tailored to address emergencies related to electrical safety hazards. Participants will gain an understanding of how to effectively respond to electrical accidents, mitigate risks, and provide immediate assistance to victims until professional medical help arrives. This course has a combination of Instructor-led training with a blend of theoretical learning and practical hands-on exercises.

Course Objectives:

  1. Understanding Electrical Hazards:Identify common electrical hazards in various environments and comprehend the potential risks associated with them.
  2. First Aid Principles: Learn fundamental principles and techniques of first aid, focusing on immediate response and injury assessment.
  3. Electrical Injury Management:Acquire skills to assess and manage electrical injuries, including burns, shock, and electrocution.
  4. CPR and AED Training: Gain an understanding of cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

Pre- requisites:

None. This course is suitable for individuals with varying levels of first aid and electrical safety knowledge.

How will this course be assessed?:

A non refundable deposit of 50% per person is required on booking to secure your place on the course. Balance is required at least 14 days prior to the course commencement date.

Cancellation terms
